Rooftop Rendezvous

After a killer Winter, naturally the thing to do on a gorgeous day is engage in some outdoor adventure. And what better way to do it than hangin’ on a rooftop with beautiful city views, crafty cocktails and trendy tunes?

IMG_8241Whether day or night, NYC provides an endless list of vibin’ rooftop venues for your enjoyment. So, this weekend, I decided to start going through that list. On Friday night, I headed over to one of my favorite rooftops – The Press Lounge at the Ink 48 Hotel (a Kimpton Property). High on the 16th floor, this stunning terrace offers uninterrupted views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. With a sophisticated and carefully crafted cocktail menu, this refined rooftop will surely not disappoint.

As the sun peered through my window Saturday morning, I knew that meant one IMG_8283thing…more outdoor fun! After slipping on my Spring attire (pastels and crop tops of course!), I headed to Spyglass Rooftop Bar at the Archer Hotel with my roommate (and partner in crime) or as we like to call it “PIC”). With breathtaking views of Lady Empire and awesome Art Deco decor, this beautiful bar offers an escape from the bustling New York City streets, 22 stories below.

With panoramic views of New York City’s skyline, a list of cosmic liquid concoctions and chic sounds spinning on the turntables, there’s no sexier vibe than this happening hot spot.

And though I’ve only just begun exploring these sky-high fun suites, I’m excited to share what’s to come. Cheers to warmer weather, Spring style and good vibes!
