Just one week away, it can be overwhelming deciding where you and “bae” will cuddle up and dine for V-day. But with no shortage of romantic restaurants in sight, I’ve created a list of the Top 5 most romantic restaurants in all the 212 (or 347, 917, 646… you get the picture). Check out Nikki’s favorite fab five for Tuesday’s dreamy dining destination –

One If By Land, Two If By Sea – 17 Barrow Street (212-255-8649, oneifbyland.com)

Operating out of historic West Village carriage house built in 1767, this fine dining establishment has been around longer than we’ve been alive (well, maybe). But despite its longstanding place on the New York dining circuit, there is nothing outdated about this place. As a matter of fact, the crackling fire place, gorgeous décor and uber romantic vibe is the perfect place to take that special someone. In fact, it’s become a popular “pop the question” venue…if that’s what this Valentine’s Day has in store for you.

Camaje- 85 Macdougal Street (212-673-8184, camaje.com)

Interested in a one-of-a-kind V-day venue? Look no further than Camaje. An intimate, dimly lit bistro in the West Village offering “dark dining” where you and your date will be blindfolded for dinner. Now, settle down, it’s not what you think, but tantalizing the senses may certainly establish the mood for post-dinner indulgence, and we’re not talking about dessert.

 The River Café – 1 Water Street (718-522-5200, rivercafe.com)

Ever envisioned a Valentine’s Day date recreating something out of the movies? Your answer is right under the Brooklyn Bridge in DUMBO at The River Café. With unparalleled views of the Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River, you’ll understand why you made a reservation here. And with so many well-known chefs getting their start here (think Charlie Palmer, David Burke and Larry Forgione), it’s no wonder this is a fav five.

Rainbow Room – 30 Rock (212-632-5000, rainbowroom.com)

Perched high above the great city of Gotham, the famed Rainbow Room is like nothing you’ve ever seen. This 65th floor iconic landmark sitting atop Midtown’s 30 Rock boasts some of the most electrifying views of the city you’ve ever laid eyes on. This Valentine’s day, treat your honey to live entertainment by Brian Newman as you sip bubbly and dine on some of the most delicious dishes New York City has to offer. This seductive setting is sure to be the lead into a perfect night for lovers.

Zenkichi – 77 N. 6th Street in Williamsburg (718-388-8985, zenkichi.com)

Like any true New York gem, this speakeasy style restaurant is secluded, exclusive and hard to find… but that’s what gives it its appeal. Tucked behind an unmarked door on North 6th Street in Williamsburg, this Japanese inspired romance den is dimly lit, with jazz music playing overhead, and a menu that’s as hard to resist as your date (hopefully). And for a mere $75 (cheap by NYC standards), there is an eight course omakase menu for your dining delight. Yes, please!
