Since 1907 New York’s famed The Plaza Hotel has been the symbol of class, elegance and pure luxury. The dream of three of Manhattan’s elite, this classic hotel came to life when the three men purchased the property with the hotel of the same name and turned it into one of the most iconic hotels in all the world. With nothing but decadence and opulence in mind, the men spared no expense or detail in developing this Midtown marvel.
When I walked into the Holiday Cocktail Lounge down in the East Village, I really didn’t know what to expect. By the sound of it, I thought I might walk into Santa’s village or a winter wonderland. Though next weekend, Labor Day Weekend, unofficially marks the end of summer, I can’t help but cherish my first summer in the city – a bright, lively, and festive one filled with a ton of unforgettable, memorable experiences. After a long drawn out winter, I, like many New Yorkers, couldn’t wait to spend as much time outside as possible.
