The official day of Spring may have been weeks ago, but the weather could’ve fooled us all. After months and months of layering, hibernating and cuffing (well, some of us), New Yorkers are feeling “free” to meander about town (notice the number of single people out and about..it’s not a coincidence).

What do you get when you invite 5,000 New Yorkers to a fancy picnic at a secret location? Le Diner En Blanc, of course. What started as a small idea, has grown into a world wide phenomenon with waiting lists as long as the circumference of the equator!
In 1988, after being abroad for part of the summer, Francois Pasquier had the grand idea to invite a small group of friends to a fancy fete like they’d never experienced. Well, if you ask me, I’ll have no problem whipping something right up for you. And it goes a little something like this… Continue reading “Art, Adventure & Apotheke – A Long Weekend in the Big City”
