Sex and the City chronicled the lives of four single women living in New York City, changing the landscape of life for women all over the world, forever. These women and their interactions with each other, the dating world, life, and the City that Never Sleeps, have since influenced, inspired and guided the burning desires and questions of women of all ages. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Catrall – or better known Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha – are a pop culture icon that will live on in the lives of women for years to come. Ladies First – Keds for a Cause

IMG_0324Certainly there are no shortage of cool, fun, and exciting endeavors to explore in NYC. But yesterday, was especially awesome. As I was scrolling through Twitter (part of my morning routine), I stumbled upon a tweet from Keds promoting Women’s Equality Day. As if that weren’t cool enough,  the kicks company was giving away a free pair of sneaks to anyone who showed up to their mobile van parked at Washington Square Park on this day of the dames.
