With record breaking rental rates and groceries you’d think were made of gold because they’re so damn expensive, it’s difficult to have any money left to actually do things that take the stress away from these “adulting” necessities.
As you traverse New York City, you can’t help but feel like a mere spec on this map. Giant buildings above, long subway tunnels below, and of course, millions of people all around you. But no matter how big the “apple” may be, you always feel like the sky is the limit. And while most times it is, last night, I went soaring above that, with no limits in site. Long weekends. Oh how we love them. As New Yorkers work hard, we also play hard, and when a long weekend like last week’s Columbus Day rolled around, I was so excited to have yet another Monday (or any day for that matter) off. The only problem is, what do you do with all that extra time?
